There’s no place like elephant country, where the magnificent creatures roam are becoming fewer and fewer in Sri Lanka. Udawalawa National Park is mainly an elephant sanctuary where these animals are fiercely protected by the state. People come from all over to see these endangered animals up close. The park is located 165 km from Colombo.
