Located in the heart of the city of Kelaniya, about 10km northeast from Colombo, is known to have been visited by Lord Buddha, on his last visit to Sri Lanka. Set beautifully, surrounding green pastures, and in close proximity to Kelani Lake, this temple is one of the main centers for religious celebrations.
